The fully degradable poly bag, commonly known as a "bone bag," is a small-sized eco-friendly flat bag made from bio-based biodegradable materials such as PLA, PBAT, and starch blends. It features an open-top design and fully degrades into CO₂, water, and biomass under industrial composting conditions, leaving no harmful residues. It is an ideal eco-friendly alternative to traditional PE bone bags.
The bag is produced through blown film extrusion, offering high transparency. Its small size and low cost make it suitable for portioning and packaging small items. Sealing can be done easily with a heat sealer or twist tie.
Compared to traditional PE bone bags, it is made from renewable plant-based resources like corn and cassava instead of petroleum-based materials, reducing carbon footprint at the source. Widely used for fresh food packaging, small accessory portioning, pharmaceutical pellet packaging, and household use — it is one of the easiest products for eco-friendly upgrades.
