Stretch Film

Stretch film is a high-tensile, self-adhesive packaging film for bundling and securing pallet goods. It is wrapped around cargo manually or by machine. Its retraction force keeps goods firmly attached to pallets for stable unit loads. Widely used in logistics, manufacturing, food & beverage, chemical and construction industries, it is anti-collapse, dustproof, moistureproof and cost-effective, serving as a mainstream packaging material for global pallet shipping.

Made of LLDPE via cast or blown film process, stretch film features great stretchability and self-cling. Film layers bond naturally after wrapping with no heat or glue needed. It is available in hand grade and machine grade for different uses.

Compared with traditional strapping bands and shrink film, stretch film is flexible, low-cost and widely applicable. It fits cargo of all shapes and sizes, with fastening strength adjustable by wrapping turns and tension, making it essential for modern logistics and warehousing.

Usage Notes

Store in a cool, dry place away from high temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight to prevent film adhesion and degradation.

Ensure the top and bottom of the load are flat. Use edge protectors on sharp corners before wrapping.

Attach the film to a dispenser. Tuck the starting end into a gap of the load. Wrap layer by layer to the desired number of turns, then press the trailing end into the wrapped film.

Adjust the number of wraps, carriage rise/fall speed, and pre-stretch ratio according to load height and weight.

Do not apply excessive tension — this may tear the film or crush the load. Insufficient tension may result in a loose wrap.
